The Pine Hollow Experience

The original owner's deep appreciation of family roots and  profound sense of belonging to the lakes and landscapes of northern Michigan inspired its creation. Architect Roger Hummel designed this exceptional dwelling to last through the ages using the finest materials—local granite, limestone, and white oak timbers, teak windows and doors, with a one-inch standing seam zinc metal roof. Deep eaves shelter intimate terraces that open to seven acres of restored native habitats of forest, meadows, ponds, dunes, and 600 feet of pristine Lake Michigan shoreline. Peace reigns.
